Central States Fair Announces Headlining Performance by Country Star Lee Brice

Rapid City, SD — The Central States Fair is kicking off its 2025 Black Hills Energy Concert series with a major name in country music: Lee Brice, the multi-Platinum-selling, award-winning artist, will take the stage on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Central States Fairgrounds in Rapid City.

With over 10 billion career streams, nine #1 radio singles, and accolades from the GRAMMYs, CMA, and ACM, Brice brings a powerful mix of radio hits, raw emotion, and high-energy stage presence to fans across the country. His latest single “Cry” joins a long list of fan-favorite anthems like “Rumor,” “I Don’t Dance,” “Hard to Love,” and “One of Them Girls.”

“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Lee Brice to Rapid City,” said Ron Jeffries, General Manager of Central States Fair, Inc. “He’s the kind of artist that connects deeply with South Dakotans — a family man, a storyteller, and a powerhouse performer. This is going to be a night to remember.”

South Dakota fans will especially connect with Brice’s blue-collar ballads like “I Drive Your Truck” and “Drinking Class,” which speak to hard-working families, military pride, and small-town roots — themes that run deep in the fabric of the region.
Tickets go on sale June 2 at CentralStatesFair.com. VIP and Premier Passes offer fans early access, prime seating, and exclusive amenities.

The concert begins at 7 PM, with gates opening at 6 PM and a Tailgate Party starting at 4PM for VIP and Premier passholders.
