Central States Fair Code of Conduct & Ethics
1. Purpose
This Code of Conduct sets expectations for all staff, volunteers, vendors, and participants to ensure a safe, respectful, and positive environment at Central States Fair events.

3. Expected Behaviors

Follow all fairgrounds rules, policies, and local laws.

Communicate respectfully and professionally.

Report unsafe conditions or misconduct to a supervisor immediately.

Use fair property and resources responsibly.

Dress appropriately for your role and tasks.
4. Unacceptable Behaviors

Harassment, discrimination, or abusive language.

Possession or use of illegal substances or being under the influence while on duty.

Violence, threats, or disruptive conduct.

Theft, vandalism, or misuse of fair property.

Inappropriate use of social media representing the fair.
5. Health & Safety

Follow all safety procedures and emergency protocols.

Refrain from actions that could endanger yourself or others.
6. Accountability
Failure to follow this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, up to and including removal from the fairgrounds and termination of volunteer or staff duties.
