Gravel Parking by the Barns - only available when you arrive, until sold out.

The sites are limited, as such we recommend bringing a generator.

RV sites in the East Park are available for reservation. However, please keep the following in mind:

• RV Check-Out: 11:00 AM
If you are competing on your scheduled departure day, you will need to move your rig by 11:00 AM so the next guest can check in.

• Stall Check-Out:
Stalls must also be vacated on your departure date so they can be cleaned and prepared for the next contestant. If you anticipate needing your stall beyond your reserved dates, please book an additional night to avoid any issues.

RV Park Sites

RV Park Information

Utility Access is every other side due to being back-in sites.
On the booking page below please note the following:
PS = passenger side
DS = driver side
PT = Pull Through

We are a limited-service event campground.

We do not have staff 24 hours, please plan accordingly.

2-night minimum stay required

There is no one in the office on Saturdays & Sundays.

Nightly Camping - $50

Boondocking / Dry Camping / Tents are not permitted

Showers / Bathrooms - Under Construction. There are additional facilities available by the horse barns.

Our Sites are back in only, the total length of your vehicle and camper must fit the length of the site you choose.

Parking is limited to 2 vehicles per site; additional vehicles need to park on the pavement at the Event Center.

Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash at all times. Horses and any other livestock are not permitted in the RV Park.

Firepits are strictly prohibited.

Sites Include: Water and 50-amp electrical service. Please bring an adapter if your camper requires 30-amp service. We do not provide any equipment, please make sure you have adaptors and/or a water splitter in case they are needed.

Dump Station: Complimentary dump station for campground guests is located on the grounds. Dump station is available to the public for a $20 fee. Do not dump any gray or black water on the grounds.

Cancellation policy: Reservations will be eligible for a refund if they are cancelled by NOON 2 days before your arrival. Cancellations made after the deadline will not be refunded. Please call the office to make changes to your reservation.

Important Stalling Information

A current 30-day health certificate is required for each horse that will be stalled overnight.

EEVCIs and expired certificates will not be accepted.

The Back pens and Grandstand Arena are off limits

you are not permitted to use the pens or park in there.

$45 each per night

Cancellation Policy

*Stalls are non-refundable - NO exceptions

Camping in the barn areas can not be booked online - it is only available at the stalling office on site upon arrival.

General Information

*Stalls are pre-bedded with bulk shavings

*Additional Shavings $15.00 per bag - while supplies last, inquire at the stalling office

*Electrical hookups are $50 per night - check with the stalling office for availability when you arrive.

*DO NOT clean your trailer out onto the ground & make sure you pick up after yourself.

*Water is on for the season, the bathrooms and showers are by the barns. Get the code from the stall office when you check in.

*Contestant camping is located in the stalling area only and is based on availability at the time of your arrival, we do not guarantee that spots will be available. Sites are limited, the amount of available electrical boxes is solely based on the conditions in the parking areas. You are encouraged to travel with a generator in the event that a plug-in is not accessible for your usage.

*Any damage to stalls, barns, or any fairgrounds property caused by you or your animals will be charged to you accordingly.

Stalls are non-refundable, do not pay for camping unless you have found confirmed an available site with the stalling office. The campground east of the Event Center is separate from Contestant camping and must be reserved in advance.

DO NOT PLUG INTO THE OUTLETS ON THE BARNS - THEY ARE NOT DESIGNATED FOR CAMPING

The following is not permitted in the James Kjerstad Event Center:

*No Outside Food / Drink / Alcohol – Our concessions is now in-house!
*No Scooters / Hoverboards / Bicycles – Safety is important!!!

*NO PETS ALLOWED - SERVICE ANIMALS ONLY.

Please make sure to clean up after yourself. This includes kids and horses too, we are here to provide a safe and clean facility.

*Central States Fair, Inc. and their employees will not be held responsible for loss of any personal property, injury, or loss of life for any person or animal at or during any of our hosted events.

*Using stalls and/or camping indicates that you agree to comply with the policies and understand that management reserves the right to cancel your reservations or make decisions as we see fit.
