Welcome to the world of Mutton Bustin’, also known as wool riding. This event is a version of Bronc Riding, transformed into a children’s rodeo event when kids try to ride a sheep for up to 8 seconds. Mutton Bustin’ is open to kids between the ages of 3-6 years old who are 60 pounds or less. Space is limited to the first riders that sign up and pay the $15 entry fee. Only one entry per person. Any duplicates will be disqualified from competition. One adult receives free admission (All American Sheep Day, Sheep Dog Trials) with each Mutton Buster. Tickets are available for purchase online or at the door for others wanting to watch the show.

I UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING:
1. One adult per Mutton Buster receives admission to All American Sheep Day for the Championship Mutton Busting performance. All others must purchase a ticket online or at the door.

2. Waiver and release forms MUST be signed by parent or legal guardian (ID REQUIRED) upon check-in at the performance and witnessed by Fair staff. A parent or legal guardian is required to accompany mutton buster during the performance. Grandparents, siblings, cousins, friends, relatives are not allowed to sign or chaperone riders. Rider will be disqualified if not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at check-in and during performance.

I understand the requirements above.

Participants AND parent or legal guardian must show up at the James Kjerstad Event Center by the west side of the arena. We will begin check-in at 6:00 PM and starting at 6:30PM.
